The Center displays Sara Little Turnbull's work, prototypes, and artifacts from a global practice of seven decades. Her Fortune 100 clients called her their ‘secret weapon.’ Sara’s design achievements were many and highly diverse. She influenced your life today from defining the use of space at home & work to car interiors, cosmetics, medical supplies (including the non-woven mask that became the N95), spacesuits, new foodstuffs, household products, and appliances, to name a few.
Paula Rees, principal of Foreseer, past SEGD board president, and founder of the Seattle chapter was professionally mentored by Sara. Paula has spent decades organizing and sharing this study center with international guests. Items are regularly loaned to design museums. This asset is currently in Seattle, so why not enjoy the local experience and join us in great conversation.
