W&Co. (New York) completed the design and development of the 2013 national AIGA conference website. AIGA asked W&Co. to build a conference site that would bolster their message and build excitement for the October event.
W&Co. began by focusing on a content strategy that puts clear information at the forefront. The visual design is clean and simple but arresting, with a constantly changing color scheme flowing in the background. The site is also built on a robust open-source back-end interface that simplifies management and will easily tie in to the eventual iPhone & iPad conference app. The site is also built on reusable templates so that the structure can easily be repurposed for future events. It's a responsive framework, so content dynamically reshuffles, ensuring maximum readability regardless of device size and proportions.
