Wayfinding, Planning, and Design at RDU

SEGD Raleigh Chapter Event

A discussion about the evolution of the airport over the last 20 years, projects and wayfinding challenges, and what we can expect over the next 20 years.


Apple Designsalong with representative(s) from the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will talk about the role wayfinding and signage play in an airport master plan, discuss specific challenges encountered over the past 20 years, including current project challenges. We will also take a look of what’s in store for the Airport and their 2040 plan to address growth, technology, and passenger trends. Included in the event will be an exclusive, escorted tour through parts of Terminal 2 to highlight design and answer questions.
