Watchfire Signs (Danville, Ill.) has added a 16mm option to its MX Class line of digital billboards.

Watchfire now offers both 16mm and 19mm versions of its MX Class billboards, which the company guarantees will look as good in year 10 as it does on the first day of operation. Both the 16mm and 19mm MX Class billboards include Watchfire’s unique 10-10-10 guarantee: a 10-year brightness guarantee, a 10-year uniformity guarantee, and a 10-year replacement parts warranty.

Gerry Hocker with Commercial Joint Venture LLC (Hocker Outdoor) installed two Watchfire MX Class digital billboards in Bethany Beach, Del., in August. “I did a lot of research into how digital billboards age, and I started looking at replacement costs in the future,” he said. “I knew I had one chance to get it right. While other boards will be showing age, my Watchfire MX boards will look as good in 10 years as they do today.”

The MX Class is designed, engineered, and built at Watchfire’s headquarters in Danville, Ill. Watchfire has manufactured outdoor electric signs since 1932 and LED signs since 1996.
