Initially designed in the 1980s, Interac required a refreshed identity to eliminate the outdated technology in the logo, enhance Interac’s visual presence, and communicate the evolution of the brand. Following an in-depth and thoughtful creative process, Entro (Toronto) developed a solution that built on the original elements.
The hand pictogram was retained, but modernized and integrated with the wordmark. A timeless sans-serif typeface was selected and customized to create a unique and proprietary wordmark. The result is a contemporary identity to match their tagline, Everyday Simply, and signal positive change to Interac’s growing community.
