Tustin Arch Monument

The City of Tustin, Calif., is in the midst of constructing a 1,600-acre planned community that will ultimately consist of more than 4,000 residential units and 9 million square feet of commercial and institutional development, with acres of open park space.

To signify the entry point to such a massive development, RSM Design (Los Angeles) designed and CRĒO Industrial Arts built what has quickly become the statement piece of the entire development: an entry structure consisting of a 48-foot-wide by 31-foot-tall, three-tiered fabricated aluminum arch structure with internal illumination and five-foot-tall halo-illuminated letters, mounted onto oversized concrete letterforms, which are mounted to a 72-foot-long, stand-alone precast concrete wall. This iconic element is a rare combination of enormous scale, extreme complexity, and exquisite craftsmanship.
