T.J. joining Acorn Sign Graphics marks a strategic milestone in the company’s journey over the past ten years with growth from a small, local sign company of 5 Associates to a leading national provider of custom architectural signage with more than 40 Associates.

T.J. Daly has significant experience with finance, design/build manufacturing, sales and marketing and technology combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, sensitivity to people, and appreciation for social and environmental responsibility providing a layer of depth and energy to Acorn’s leadership team. T.J. believes that strategic focus combined with truly extraordinary people can enable exciting growth and innovation in traditional industries.

Prior to joining Acorn Sign Graphics, T.J. Daly worked with a start-up team that built a software as a service marketing platform focused on solving the complexities of e-marketing for small businesses. After having served for three years as the CEO of a timber frame home company, he founded a design focused timber frame home firm specializing in architectural design and timber frame fabrication. On the finance side of his career, he ran an early stage technology focused venture capital firm, was a banker, and was the CFO of a video production company. He was recognized for his business and civic contributions when he was voted one of the Top 40 Under 40 in Richmond, VA at 29 years old. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
