Tim Rucker
Tim Rucker's Specialties: Signage Design, Wayfinding, Print Graphics, and Logo Design
Tim is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He was raised in middle Tennessee, and calls Nashville, Tennessee home. He attended Middle Tennessee State University, and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design (1989-1993).
Tim Rucker completed an internship with Gaylord Entertainment Company (1993), and was hired as a full time employee where he worked on projects involving all of their properties including (but not limited to); Opryland Theme park, Opryland Hotel, Springhouse Golf Course, Ryman Auditorium, Wildhorse Saloon, General Jackson Showboat and Gaylord Corporate (1993-2001). Tim's area of expertise was in both print graphics and environmental graphics (signage).
Tim Rucker was the lead designer of Gaylord's re-branding of the company, and personally designed their new logo in 2000. Co-Owner and designer, with Fat Cat Graphics, (2001-2005), he continued to work on both print and environmental graphics for various clients including (but not limited to); Beech Bend Park, Tennessee Historical Society, DSI, Colorstream Digital, Pro Lith Services, Tape and Disc Factory and Marshall & Bruce Co.
In 2002-2003, Tim Rucker also worked as an adjunct professor for Watkin's College of Art and Design where he taught classes in, "The Introduction to Graphic Design". In 2005, Tim was hired as a full time designer at Gresham, Smith & Partners in their Environmental Graphics Design group where he has worked with various clients that include (but are not limited to);

In March of 2018, Tim left Gresham, Smith & Partners to begin work with Jarvis Signs in Nashville, TN as an Environmental Graphic Designer.
