2011 Distinguished Member Award honoree

Tom Esch, senior civil engineer at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, was recognized for his innovative work in developing SEGD's Airport and Transportation Workshop; encouraging collaboration among EGD firms, fabricators, manufacturers, and airport executives; and organizing the Airport Sign Managers Network to promote best practices in airport wayfinding systems.
