Tanvi Sonavane is an environmental designer at CallisonRTKL. She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Design from the Art Center College of Design, and a Bachelor of Design in Spatial Design from the National Institute of Design in India.
As a spacial and experiential designer, Tanvi Sonavane merges spatial design, new media and branding with fun and cheeky, bold and out, quirky and eclectic designs. She has worked as an designer through Selbert Perkins Design and as an interactive designer at We Are Matik. Tanvi proposed an interactive experience for the Grammy Museum Lobby in Los Angeles which was sponsored by the Art Center College of Design. She also was apart of the team that designed the structures and wayfinding for the 2015 Special Olympics World Games event held in Los Angeles.
Tavani Sonavane's work with the Surabhi Foundation includes designing and conceptualizing an outdoor space for the Living Heritage Center in Mumbai, India. Tavani worked with Big ND Studio where she visualized for the “Alibaba and 40 thieves Ride” at the ADLABS Imagica theme park. She also researched and conceptualized for the redevelopment of the Film City, Mumbai as a tourist and entertainment destination.
