Taj Cutting is a native New Yorker currently studying Exhibition and Experiential Design for her Master's of Art at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is focused on pursuing a career that involves creating unique connections through global experiences and more.
Taj Cutting studied previously at FIT, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. She has worked as a interior design assistant at Bachman Brown Design, a small residential Interior Design firm that caters to New York City apartments and homes, as well as Connecticut and upstate New York. She also worked in marketing and social media for 393NYC, a pop up space in Soho. There, Taj designed the PUMA x Shantell Martin Pop Up, including the floor plan layout and rendering of overall space for conceptual design.
Taj has volunteered with various organizations, including as a deliverer with God's Love We Deliver, a service that provides food baskets to New York City residents who suffer from illness around the city on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Taj is looking to create experiences and connections between individuals through storytelling, interactive aspects, design and more. She is interested in working and exploring both domestically and overseas.
