2016 SEGD Global Design Awards: Creative Experiential Designs that Communicate

Jury Announced for 2016 SEGD Global Design Awards

Stephen Minning of BrandCulture (Sydney) leads a team of eight acclaimed multidisciplinary designers.

WASHINGTON, DC – Stephen Minning,founder and managing director of one of Australia’s leading design and brand studios, will serve as Chair of the 2016 SEGD Global Design Awards jury. He’ll lead a panel of eight other acclaimed designers representing a wide range of disciplines, from interactive experience design to architecture and wayfinding.

Moss Retail & Environments (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) completed the graphic branding package for UI Labs, the Chicago-based research collaborative that brings universities and industries, national labs, and civic and government partners together to solve complex challenges.

A Strong Second A.C.T. for San Francisco Theater Space

The American Conservatory Theater has been a fixture of San Francisco’s arts scene for nearly 50 years. When it decided to open a second venue in the city’s resurgent Central Market neighborhood, it chose a once-glamorous but long-derelict movie house for a new kind of community space. Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP helped A.C.T. open the curtain on a new era for the theater, the neighborhood, and the historic Strand.
