2018 SEGD Fellow and Achievement Award Winners Announced

During the 2018 SEGD Conference Experience Minneapolis, winners of the 2018 SEGD Achievement Awards were announced and celebrated at the largest annual gathering of members of the experiential graphic design community. Since 1987, SEGD has honored the individuals, companies and institutions whose work has significantly advanced the environmental and experiential graphic design fields. The 2018 honorees and awards and links to profiles on them are as follows.

MIAMI — During the 2017 SEGD Conference Experience Miami, winners of the 2017 SEGD Achievement Awards were announced and celebrated among the largest annual gathering of members of the experiential graphic design community. Since 1987, has honored the individuals, companies, and institutions whose work has significantly advanced the environmental and experiential graphic design fields. The 2017 honorees and awards are as follows.

Since 1987, has honored the individuals, companies, and institutions whose work has significantly advanced the environmental and experiential graphic design fields.

Donald Meeker

2015 SEGD Fellow

Donald Meeker grew up in Oregon and was greatly influenced by the state’s diverse landscape, its strong conservation ethic, and public design initiatives that in the 1950s and early 60s were progressive in their time. Although a New Yorker for 35 years, that influence and ethic has guided his way of thinking. In his 30-year career as a graphic designer, he has worked for a variety of clients ranging from paper companies and hedge funds to national parks and historic sites. His work on public projects for parks and natural areas touch millions of visitors a year.

Douglas Morris

SEGD President 2002-2003
