Joseph Mackereth is an environmental and interactive designer currently working at Gecko Group. He is a firm believer in the societal benefits of wayfinding and ADA design.
In his previous role as Marketing Manager for Center in the Square, Joseph Mackereth had the opportunity to work with a number of non-profit organizations in the Roanoke area and was the Creative Service Manager for the creation of the Roanoke Pinball Museum and the Don and Barbra Smith Children’s Museum.
Abigail Sarver-Verhey is a graduate student earning my M.F.A. in Exhibition Planning + Design at the University of the Arts. She will be graduating in 2020 and is looking for exhibition development positions at exhibit design firms and science/natural history museums.

He started his career at Gallagher & Associates designing environmental graphics for Museums, Sports Environments and Building Signage. Sports environments quickly became his specialty.
The work that he compiled at Gallagher & Associates caught the attention of the Brand team at Under Armour. Shortly after, he joined the team as Senior Designer in 2006 and worked his way up to Art Director.
Barbara Herbert is an experienced exhibit designer. She has been making things as long as she can remember and believes that you must first determine what a project needs to be, then figure out how to build it.
Nick Fowlkes is Vice President of Business Development at L&H Companies, a leading provider of architectural sign products for over 26 years. He is an accomplished Senior Sales Executive adept at penetrating accounts, capturing market share, and driving revenue growth. His primary role is to develop and execute company sales and plans driven from his expertise is in strategic sales planning, relationship building, executive negotiations, and creating solid market branding through application processes that have been proven successful.
