Acorn Sign Graphics Now a Certified B Corporation

Acorn Sign Graphics (Richmond, Va.) announced that they are now a Certified B Corporation, the first in the sign industry and now among the ranks of more than 800 socially and environmentally responsible companies including Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, Method, Seventh Generation, Etsy, and more. Much like LEED certification for the built environment, Certified B Corporations meet rigorous third-party standards of social and environmental performance for the entire business.

Cloud Gehshan Associates (Philadelphia), in collaboration with SaylorGregg Architects, designed an electronic visitor information and donor recognition system for the lobby of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania building. The display includes images from HSP's vast collection of archival, genealogical, and historical information. The digital storytelling walls were designed to be a renewable showcase, creating a welcoming environment for members, donors, and historians.

Frost* Design covered Sydney for the I’M ON campaign

Frost* Design (Sydney) covered Sydney in condoms for the I’M ON campaign, the Stay Safe extension of ACON’s Ending HIV initiative. The catchy outdoor component definitely brings smiles to the faces of passersby, communicating the important message that ending the HIV epidemic by 2020 is only possible if testing more and treating early are accompanied by the maintenance of a strong safe-sex culture.

Hunt Design (Pasadena, Calif.) continues their 10-year relationship at San Diego International Airport with all new signage for the expanded Terminal 2 West. Executing their own signage master plan, the Hunt Design team worked with HNTB to plan and design all passenger signs and traveler information systems. More than 800 graphic elements welcome and guide passengers through the 10 new gates and renovated areas of the 430,000-square-foot facility.

Poulin + Morris - 7 Bryant Park

7 Bryant Park, New York by Poulin+Morris

Poulin + Morris (New York) announced new projects including a comprehensive environmental graphics and wayfinding sign program for all public and non-public areas of 7 Bryant Park, a new 474,000-square-foot mixed-use office tower in midtown Manhattan. The project includes main identification, lobby identification, tenant directory, tenant identification, service- and code-related signs, as well as interior identification standards for future commercial tenants.

Two Twelve (New York) collaborated with the Botanical Research Institute of Texas to communicate its mission focused on conservation and knowledge-sharing about the plant world.

The firm also worked with Bloomberg L.P. to integrate the design of its annual report illustrating the company’s vision, position, and progress on sustainability with the associated microsite.
