The University of the Arts London team realized that temporary workspace culture is a fast-emerging market in the 21st Century and part of the growth of that trend has been driven by a desire to support creative entrepreneurialism in high-rent cities and temporary architecture to act as a platform for creative experimentation. Design-led furniture companies have targeted this trend with ready-to-buy furniture that is sustainable and reusable for temporary spaces.

The SaRang Global Mission Center was established as a place for the large community of SaRang Church to gather for weekly services, while reinforcing the church’s vision (to send missionaries all over the world) and mission (to reach out to the surrounding local community). Along with the construction of the new building, there were plans to erect a more traditional bell and clock tower on the campus.

“Drawing can give form to thoughts, lead to new ideas, make the invisible visible, and be the means to dream. This studio is a place to use drawing as a tool in these ways and more.”

This was the introduction to Out of Line, an open studio space for RISD Museum visitors during the run of the exhibition Lines of Thought: Drawing from Michelangelo to Now from the British Museum (October 6, 2017–January 7, 2018).

When the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was about to celebrate the 100th running of The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, Project 100 was born. Project 100's goal was to engage fans enjoying the track’s multiple events and inform visitors in and around the seats that have been there for over 60 years.

The complete project entailed updated seating and suites, concessions, exterior road mapping and the Section 127 design team’s role included a complete wayfinding study and application and constructing an awe-inspiring new Turn 1 entrance.

Nubo

Nubo

Working in collaboration with Joey Ho and Patrick Leung of PalDesign Architects, Urbanite was commissioned to work on a new concept in children’s play spaces that is understood to be the first of its kind in Australia. Built around best practices for early childhood education through a lens of play, Nubo supports education and growth through exploration and connection for children up to ten years of age.

Designed by dn&co, this project represents an innovative and bespoke signage and wayfinding program for Here East, London’s home for making. Here East is a 1.2 million-square-foot tech and creative industries campus on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.
