"Crossing Signal," a traffic-signal inspired LED mosaic in the entrance to an Emeryville, Calif., apartment building, has won the 2015 Just Imagine Award sponsored by Lucite International (Cordova, Tenn.).

Lucite International (Cordova, Tenn.), owner of the LuciteLux® acrylic brand, announced Eugene-based technology collective Light at Play is the winner of its inaugural JUST IMAGINE Awards. Light at Play’s design, called the Radiance Dome, features nearly 200 two-foot LuciteLux® Light Guide Panel (LGP) triangles equipped with LED lights that glow as they change color with music and movement. It was used as a 1,000-foot dance space at the 2013 Burning Man Festival.

Lucite International (Cordova, Tenn.) introduced a new, thinner, light-guiding continuous cast acrylic sheet in its Illumination series. The .236mm sheet is made for LED-lighted retail shelving and other applications where illumination is a key design factor.
