Completing a multi-year effort to bring Lucerne, Switzerland to China, Lorenc+Yoo Design recently was pleased to share the unique sculptural elements that accentuate “The Lucerne Town’s” delightful quality, levity and joy.
LYD principal Jan Lorenc, FSEGD and Przemysław Kordys created a series of 10 angelic sculptures aligned with the linear fountain and alongside the Luzern Music Center.

Jekyll Island Museum Concept

It’s not often that Lorenc+Yoo is able to participate in design projects close to their Atlanta-area home, which made the concept design for the Jekyll Island Museum a particularly special experience for the firm.

Originally a site of Native American habitation and later a European colonial settlement and fort, by the 20th century, Jekyll Island had become a beach refuge for the wealthy and the site of one of the most important conferences on U.S. monetary policy. Now a state-operated nature preserve, Jekyll Island’s history is wide-ranging, complex and important.

Lorenc+Yoo Study Contrasts in Chinese Convention Centers

Lorenc+Yoo paired with longtime collaborator, tvsdesign, to create the branding and wayfinding signage for the Zhumadian International Agricultural Expo Center (Zhumadian, China) and the Jinan Expo (Jinan China), both of which are in the first stages of construction and scheduled for completion in 2019.

2017 SEGD Fellow and Achievement Award Winners Announced

MIAMI — During the 2017 SEGD Conference Experience Miami, winners of the 2017 SEGD Achievement Awards were announced and celebrated among the largest annual gathering of members of the experiential graphic design community. Since 1987, has honored the individuals, companies, and institutions whose work has significantly advanced the environmental and experiential graphic design fields.
