With more than 20 years experience in high-level, complex graphics and wayfinding programs in the US and beyond, Susan brings vast experience to her diversified and talented teams at Pentagram. Susan is a senior EGD specialist for three partner teams in the New York office. She is leading multiple projects, including a large-scale multi-use project in Miami with Paula Scher, multiple international projects with Natasha Jen, and the recently completed Barclays Center with Michael Bierut.

Brooksany Vettergreen

Brooksany Vettergreen brings with her a decade of experience in environmental graphics, as well as print and web design. She holds a Bachelor's in Graphic Design from Simmons College, 1999, and a MS in Interactive Media from Quinnipiac University, 2013.

Brook has developed comprehensive wayfinding and donor recognition systems for The Jackson Laboratories, Boston Scientific, Merck Millipore, and the Perkins School of the Blind, as well as regional healthcare providers such as Newton-Wellesley Hosptial, Winchester Hospital, and Exeter Hospital.

Donald Meeker

2015 SEGD Fellow

Donald Meeker grew up in Oregon and was greatly influenced by the state’s diverse landscape, its strong conservation ethic, and public design initiatives that in the 1950s and early 60s were progressive in their time. Although a New Yorker for 35 years, that influence and ethic has guided his way of thinking. In his 30-year career as a graphic designer, he has worked for a variety of clients ranging from paper companies and hedge funds to national parks and historic sites. His work on public projects for parks and natural areas touch millions of visitors a year.

With more than 25 years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of branding, wayfinding, and environmental graphics programs, Jim Alderman has served a broad range of client types including public and educational facilities, airports, sports venues, healthcare facilities, retail environments, and corporate offices.

With an eye for clarity, He has designed sign programs for buildings, cities, airports and other transit systems, along with maps, infographics, dynamic information displays, and statistical data visualizations.

Michael Summers

Michael Summers is an environmental graphic designer with Gresham Smith and Partners, Nashville. Prior to joining Gresham Smith in 2008, he ran his own graphic design and illustration studio for more than 11 years. He also worked for 8 years as a senior graphic designer for hotel, resort, entertainment, and media company Gaylord Entertainment.

Wendy Olmstead

1993 Distinguished Member Award honoree

Wendy Olmstead was a Faculty Associate at Tempe University's Industrial Design Program from 1980 - 1991.

Wendy Olmstead taught all levels of typography and graphic design to sophomore, junior and senior level students at Purdue University from 1991-1997. She also designed and directed seminar courses for graduate visual communications students and directed the efforts of independent study students upon their request.
