Here at SEGD, there is something we love more than anything else … Our Members! And this month, we are celebrating members with “Membership March.” That’s right, a whole entire month dedicated to our SEGD Members! This includes feature articles devoted to our newest members, a membership survey, and even exciting prizes for joining or renewing during the month of March.
Forging new connections during this time of COVID has proven to be challenging on many levels. But SEGD’s newly formed Membership Committee—including Kris Helmick, Zach Kotel, and Annelle Stotz—is working to increase SEGD membership, while striving to improve the overall member experience. Returning for a second year, SEGD’s Present Yourself provides graduating design students with portfolio reviews and professional mentoring, all happening in real-time.
What began as a sort of band-aid for design students who can't participate in live portfolio reviews this year, has grown into an engaging new program offering from SEGD.
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) recently announced its 2020 Board of Directors. Notably, respected experiential graphic designer, Anna Crider,Principal at internationally-recognized firm Entro (New York) has transitioned from Vice President to Board President, continuing to pledge her leadership talents to the association.
Washington— SEGD recently announced its 2019 Board of Directorsincluding the departure of three board members, the addition of four new members and the transition of the office of Secretary/Treasurer.

Graham Hanson(GHD Partners, New York) served on the Board from 2013 through 2018.
In 2014, I volunteered to become a Chapter Co-Chair in Los Angeles in the hopes of growing our local chapter and creating events that would appeal to those in our industry. As time went on and our LA membership grew, it was exciting to see the addition of new members from various design backgrounds (signage, digital, exhibit design, fabrication and manufacturers).
New York— At a meeting last week, SEGD's current Board of Directorscelebrated notable changes to the Board starting in 2017, including the departure of five board members, the addition of three new members and the transition of the office of Secretary/Treasurer.
Kris Helmick serves on the 2017-2021 SEGD Boards as the Chapter Chair Liaison, and also as Co-chair for the SEGD Los Angeles Chapter. He is also the Associate Vice President of Environmental Graphics at CallisonRTKL
Kris has more than 10 years of experience working on signage, wayfinding and exhibit design projects.
