A remarkable exhibition at the Art Academy of Latvia won SEGD's 2016 Global Design Awards Best of Show for its exploration of diverse facets of graphic design. A broad team from the Latvian firm Design Studio H2E, led by Creative Director Holgers Elers and Designer Inguna Elere, created INFORMATION, an exhibition that focused on the products, services and processes of graphic design in Latvia.
Virtual Depictions:San Francisco is a public art project by media artist Refik Anadol, commissioned for 350 Mission Building in San Francisco. The installation consists of a series of parametric data sculptures that tell the story of the city and people around it within a unique artistic approach to the building’s architecturally integrated media wall.

Open Source is the largest international art exhibition in Philadelphia’s history, with impactful public art installations created by 14 renowned international artists and 40 events throughout October 2015––positioning the city as an enlightened leader in the global art community.

Han Meilin is one of China’s preeminent contemporary artists. Most of the patients at Fukuoka Children’s Hospital are critically ill and facing serious and anxiety-producing medical treatments. Many of the patients and their families travel to the new 239-bed, 305,500-sq.-ft. hospital from remote places beyond the borders of the prefecture.
The goal of the Shimazu Environmental Graphics design team was to create a space that would decrease the stress and anxiety for children and their families and allow them to easily navigate the hospital, from patient room to examination rooms and various treatment spaces.
Contro Spazio: Punti in Aria (Counter Space: Points in Air) was a site-specific installation displayed in the SG Gallery and on the streets of Venice from July 7 to July 27, 2015. The goal of the project was to use graphic design (specifically, the printed ephemera of tourism) to provoke visitors and residents of the city to consider the ways in which graphic design fashions an image of Venice.
