Dr. Shaima Bardawil is a Jordanian Visual Communication practitioner, researcher, and educator based in the United Arab Emirates. After growing up in Abu-Dhabi, Shaima received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from University of Petra, Amman – Jordan, and her Masters and PhD degrees from Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.

Lance Kagey

Born in the late fall of 1961, Lance Kagey lived his early years in multiple cities from Texas to Hawaii finally settling in Southern California. In the second grade he won an art contest drawing a lion with white glue and chalk on black construction paper. His father a mathematician and engineer, his mother a self-taught artist and homemaker, Lance grew up in the affluence of Orange County. He was strongly influenced by both the analytic logic of his father and the over emotional passion of his mother.

Bruce McKean

Bruce McKean, AIA is Helix Design Group's founding principal. He started Helix in a small back office with the simple idea that great design and solid relationships would create a formula for success.  Bruce began his career in 1985; he enjoys the ability to create memorable elements for our environment where the results come out better than what was expected. He studies architect’s past and present work to draw inspiration and uses that research to create something new and specifically structured toward the client or project.

Amy McNeil began working as a designer in 2002 as a participant in the University of Cincinnati’s internationally recognized Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) and their cooperative education program. From San Francisco to New York City and finally back to the Midwest, Amy McNeil designed for numerous high-profile clients and gained invaluable experience in the branding, environmental graphic design, wayfinding and signage fields. In 2007, Amy McNeil relocated from Cincinnati to Nashville, Tennessee, to work for a digital signage and branding company.
