Michele Washington is a design researcher and design strategist who works with non-profits, startups, and cultural institutions. She is currently a Columbia University Community Scholar and the founder of “CuriousStories Lab,” a curated series of podcasts and short docs on architects and designers of color. She has an MFA in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, and M.S. in Communications Design from Pratt Institute.
Heeji Min’s passion lies in visual storytelling and transforming spaces to captivate audiences within branded experiences. She knew from a very young age that she wanted to pursue art, and she knows she’s found a way to make that childhood dream a reality with her exhibition designs. Growing up in a small town in Korea, Heeji pursued her passion by joining various art clubs.
Tracy Llewellyn is an industrial designer and artist based in NYC. Originally from Miami, FL, she received her Bachelor of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and is currently a graduate student at SUNY-Fashion Institute of Technology studying Exhibition & Experience Design. She has designed product for a variety of brands ranging from mass to high end markets.
Jun Xie is a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology studying Exhibition and Experience Design pursuing a Master of Arts degree. She was graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor degree of Industrial Design last year. With great passion of making design a bit more fun, she wants to work on designing space that gives people a surprised moment.
Margo Malter is an MA candidate in Exhibition and Experience Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is a budding exhibition designer and interpretative strategist whose work is grounded in her background as an artist, art administrator and early childhood educator. She is interested in how exhibitions can be generous, immersive and emotional.
Taj Cutting is a native New Yorker currently studying Exhibition and Experiential Design for her Master's of Art at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is focused on pursuing a career that involves creating unique connections through global experiences and more.
Savannah Sears is a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology studying Exhibition and Experience Design pursuing a Master of Arts degree. She is a service designer passionate about research and user experiences. Interested primarily in physical spaces and services, she is looking to work on creating exhibits and experiences that are comfortable and exciting for the user.
