StudioLR

Founded in 2004 by design leader Lucy Richards and entrepreneur Andy Gray, StudioLR is a design consultancy committed to making the world a better place.

We care about how design makes people feel, we challenge convention, and we get results. Our emotive and memorable approach is effective in winning hearts as well as mind.

StudioLR has a world-class track record, working with clients including John Lewis, SSE, The Mary Rose and National Trust.

Marc Jenkins

Marc Jenkins is a graphic designer living in England. He leads the graphic design team at BDP, specialising in environmental graphic design, including wayfinding and signage.

Marc Jenkins' designs function in a three-dimensional environment—such as "environmental" branding at a company headquarters, exhibition design, and signage and wayfinding for universities, cities, and airports. He works in collaboration with fellow architects, interior designers, and landscape architects, exploring the potential of signage and graphics within a space.

Introducing EGD to graphic design students at Napier University Edinburgh

Napier College Edinburgh School of Design

Postgraduate Study - a Master's Degree starting 2014/15

StudioLR will assist the University in planning a one year Master's Degree course open to any graduate design student from any country.

We can offer a mentoring programme and internships for students, and we hope to facilitate a link with SEGD with a view to formal accreditation of the course.

Lucy Richards

Lucy Richards is the SEGD Edinburgh Chapter Chair.

In 2004 StudioLR was founded with the guiding principle that graphic design can make a real difference – it can alter behaviour, stir emotion, provoke thought, provide reassurance and stimulate a response.
