At Milan Design Week 2017, the Samsung Galaxy design philosophy of “no borders, no boundaries” was brought to fulfillment in an immersive interactive brand experience designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and Universal Everything.

Universal Everything Collaborate with Apple

Universal Everything recently collaborated with Apple to create a series of emotive 3-D wallpapers for the new iPhone that animate in response to human touch. The animations played a central role in the Apple event on September 12, 2017 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, to launch the radically redesigned iPhone X, and the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

SEGD’s Xlab returns this November in New York with a focus on change and innovation in experience design. This year’s theme, Experience Design in the Era of Disruption, will showcase how disruption is impacting experience design and the way people are using and interacting with places and spaces.

Greg Giordano

Greg Giordano is Director, Design and Strategy at Sensory Interactive. Greg leads Sensory Interactive’s multi-disciplinary design studio in Austin, Texas on projects that integrate digital media into the built environment.

Greg Giordano is a licensed architect with 20 years of experience working at the intersection of information, interactions, and the environment. He draws on the disciplines of design research, architecture, environmental graphics, graphic design, interaction design, and process design to create comprehensive user experiences in the built environment.

Andy Snyder, Interactive Design Director, OpenEye Global, New York

Andy Snyder is an award-winning graphic designer & creative director for OpenEye Global, a digital experience design agency, where he currently holds the role of Interactive Design Director.  Andy Snyder utilizes his fine arts upbringing, education in Swiss design principals, as well as running his own design agency in the 2000’s, to bring a vast array of creative knowledge and background to our current client roster as well as working to elevate the OEG brand.

Building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico was a focal point of the 2016 U.S. presidential election; the idea has turned attention to the border between the two countries but ignores the point that they coexist in a complex synergy. Designed in collaboration with FR-EE / Fernando Romero Enterprise in response to the official theme, “Utopia by Design,” “Border City” is the Mexico installation at the first annual London Design Biennale.

MahaNahkon is a new 77-story high-rise mixed-use complex located on a 3.6-acre site in the heart of Bangkok’s Central Business District. The building is designed by Ole Scheeren of Büro Ole Scheeren and developed by Pace Development. Pentagram has designed a program of environmental graphics for MahaNahkon, including dynamic digital installations for CUBE, the building’s retail component.

Nike Test Stride Course by Leviathan

Nike was seeking a team to design and deliver an event bringing influencers and athletes together to test their latest batch of performance winter gear—and deliver Leviathan did—with an interactive motion-triggered urban test course.

Michael Rocha, Panasonic

Michael Rocha is the Director of Creative Services at Panasonic.

For over 2 decades Michael Rocha has focused on interactive media and digital storytelling. Primarily working with large displays featured at sporting venues, Michael helped pioneer much of the ways fans enjoy live events. This experience includes two Olympic Games, several Super Bowls, one NFL ProBowl and an award in 1998 from the IDEA convention as the “Best Presentation in Sports” with his work with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Civiq Smartspaces LinkNYC product has passed the 1 million user mark already with still thousands of terminals to be rolled out in New York City. It is hard to say what success will look like for the new smart environment, but this first city wide experiment is definitely pioneering - successfully
