What happens when Confederate monuments are removed from public places? In the city of Baltimore, officials recently replaced bronze statues of military generals with interpretive signage fabricated and installed by SEGD member firm Color-Ad. The outdoor signs honor Harriet Tubman and trace the history of monuments in Wyman Park Dell. Writing for the Baltimore Sun, Christine Condon recorded the comments of Baltimore City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke about the new signage: “We’re very proud of it,” Clarke said.
