Cannon Design (Chicago/Baltimore) announced Madhu Gresla, AIA, has joined the firm's Chicago office as Vice President and Tonia Burnette has joined the firm as Principal. With more than 20 years experience in healthcare design, Gresla has managed, designed, and executed projects totaling more than $700 million in construction value. Her new role is Business Development Director for Cannon’s Chicago healthcare practice.

Alpolic (Chesapeake, Va.) announced the appointment of Jack Finn as Category Manager for Petroleum Industries and Programs, Northern USA and Canada. In addition to the petroleum segment, Finn is responsible for corporate identity efforts for the automotive, quick service restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, and chain retail market segments. Finn has worked with Alucobond for more than 12 years, most recently as the company’s National Sales Manager for Corporate Identity – North America.

Poulin + Morris - Centra at MetroPark

Poulin + Morris (New York) recently completed an environmental graphics program for Centra at MetroPark, a modernist, five-story, 110,000-sq.-ft. office building in Iselin, N.J. Composed of dark grey and clear glass and boasting an asymmetrical tree-like column that supports an extended and suspended fourth floor, Poulin + Morris faced the challenge of creating an environmental graphics and wayfinding sign program that would complement the building's striking facade and interiors.

Russell Design

Russell Design (New York) completed design for three different projects associated with the revival of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and BLDG 92, its new exhibit and community center.

The firm created a catalog of BLDG 92’s opening exhibits, a kiosk application presenting the green attributes of the new building, and a second kiosk with a genealogical tool allowing visitors to explore, and add to, a database of Navy Yard employees and business, past and present.

Signalex (Mississauga, Ont.) engineered and fabricated the aluminum extrusion systems for station advertising units as part of a 12-year transit advertising program for the Toronto Transit System. The systems were engineered by Active Designers/Al Sandid with design intent by Kramer Design Associates. Pattison Outdoor LP will provide transit advertising that will reach 1.5 million commuters daily. Signalex created extrusion systems that are less than 2-in. deep and lit by CSA-approved LED panels fabricated in house.

Systeme Huntingdon - Environmentally Friendly Graphic Processes and Materials

Systeme Huntingdon (Huntingdon, Quebec) introduced wall and ceiling systems created using environmentally friendly graphic processes and materials. The systems simulate organic materials such as wood and granite and come in a range of patterns and colors. Decorative electrostatic painting resists scratches, water, graffiti, water, and humidity. Panels can be installed horizontally or vertically on any type of surface, from concrete to sheetrock or wood, and can be changed as needed.

As VP, Schneider manages the group's international sales force and oversees the continuous expansion achieved by the company’s Business Development Division.
