Tryba Architects Leads SEGD Denver on Tour of History Colorado Museum

Tryba Architects Leads SEGD Denver on Tour of History Colorado Museum

We had a blast at our last event of 2019 and are gearing up for some amazing experiences in 2020. Our tour of History Colorado and the exhibit Zoom In: The Centennial State in 100 Objects lead by Tryba Architects was fascinating. Our chapter was fortunate enough to get a peek at the collections storage, as well as hear about the design of the building, how objects are collected, stored and archived and how that all translated into the exhibit. It was amazing to see 13,000 years of human history in what is now considered Colorado represented in 100 objects.

SEGD Houston 1st Anniversary Event

SEGD Houston 1st Anniversary was a success!

Our first anniversary event was a great success and we want to thank all of those who joined! There were many new faces (exciting) and many dedicated members who continue to support our chapter! Our photo only shows a few of the 25 who were in attendance. We discussed goals for the coming year and were excited to announce our next event will be a Crawfish Boil at Graphtec - more info to come in the following month.

A Look Back at 2019...

As we start planning meetings and events for 2020, here's a quick look back at 2019. Thanks again to all our attendees, hosts, and sponsors for helping us connect and grow the Nashville SEGD community.

PixelFLEX LED Tour
David Venus invited our chapter to tour the newly created showroom at PixelFLEX to discover new ideas for incorporating LED displays into the built environment.

Recap: SEGD Fellow Jan Lorenc

Jan Lorenc Montage

Thank you to everyone who came out to see SEGD Fellow Jan Lorenc at the Allsteel Showroom. He charmed the crowd with stories from his personal history and his impressive forty years of design experience and innovation. This evening of storytelling, supplemented by the delicious food and drink generously provided by Nova Polymers, was a fantastic cap to our year.
