“Off Grid 18,”the second-annual international experiential graphic design event created by the Wellington Chapter of SEGD, transpired over four days and four cities in late February. The theme was “Experiential City,” which posed the question, “What is the ‘experiential city’ and where does design fit in?”

Büro North recently announced the appointment of two new directors, Brooke Murray and Chris Thorpe. These promotions recognize their significant contribution to the business in an exciting period of national growth and development for Büro North.
To address the very narrow space of the check-in hall at Perth Airport, Büro North developed a staged delivery of information aligning to the steps passengers are required to complete through the check-in process. In addition, Büro North’s evidence-based wayfinding approach to the project reduced the number of signs planned for the project by approximately 30%.
By utilizing existing infrastructure, Smart Tactile Paving keeps pedestrians using mobile phones safer by highlighting traffic messaging within their diminished field of vision.
