Iconograph is an Experiential Graphic Design (EGD) firm located in Charlottesville, Virginia co-founded by Brittney Butler. Iconograph creatively bridges the gap between human interaction with the built environment through the use of color, signage, materials, exhibits, wayfinding, theming, and digital interaction to evoke and create emotion, teachable moments, and deep content that directly relates to the architecture around it.

Discovery Elementary School is the first new elementary school to be built in Arlington, Virginia in more than a decade. The design team from VMDO Architects successfully created a kid-centric, place-based, wayfinding narrative that went beyond navigation to support a larger vision of spatial interaction.
