Iconograph is an Experiential Graphic Design (EGD) firm located in Charlottesville, Virginia co-founded by Brittney Butler. Iconograph creatively bridges the gap between human interaction with the built environment through the use of color, signage, materials, exhibits, wayfinding, theming, and digital interaction to evoke and create emotion, teachable moments, and deep content that directly relates to the architecture around it.

Since 2007, Brittney Butler has overseen the branding and graphic standards for VMDO Architects – a Charlottesville, VA-based architectural firm specializing in planning and design for K12 schools and higher education facilities.

In honor of Women’s History Month, SEGD is sharing stories about “women you need to know” who are practicing in the field of experiential graphic design.
