Lynne Bernhardt

For more than twenty years, Lynne Bernhardt has sharpened her graphic design skills, specializing in sign system design and wayfinding. She has managed and designed sign systems for educational, institutional, retail, recreation, medical, transportation and corporate facilities. Her responsibilities include programming, planning, design and management of interior and exterior sign systems, displays and donor recognition. Beyond her incredible knowledge of logo, display and print design, Lynne brings a keen eye and a sense of fun to every project that crosses her path.

Tom Geismar

Tom Geismar is a founding partner of Chermayeff & Geismar and widely considered a pioneer of American graphic design. During the past four decades he has designed more than 100 corporate identity programs. His designs for Xerox, Chase Manhattan Bank, Best Products, Gemini Consulting, PBS, Univision, Rockefeller Center and, most notably, Mobil Oil have received worldwide acclaim.

Henry Beer co-founded CommArts with Richard Foy in 1973. The two met at the office of Charles and Ray Eames and for 35 years, along with Janet Martin, headed a staff of architects, industrial, interior, graphic, and environmental graphic designers who created nationally and internationally acclaimed work for their clients.

Ed Hofmann

Edwin L. Hofmann is associate vice president of design at Limited Brands and a founding member of the Victoria’s Secret store design team. In close cooperation with the company management, Hofmann defines and develops cutting-edge branding strategies, which are then translated into riveting, emotionally loaded flagship store concepts. Hofmann and his team were recently responsible for creating the Victoria’s Secret flagship stores in New York, Chicago, and Hawaii. Before that, Hofmann was design director at Victoria’s Secret Beauty and senior designer at Robert A.M.

Lance Wyman

1992 SEGD Fellow.

Lance Wyman is considered to be one of the most influential graphic designers of our time, and is credited with helping to define the field of environmental graphic design. He founded Lance Wyman Ltd. in 1979 and has focused his work primarily on branding/wayfinding systems for public environments.

Rich Burns
