Morla Design created the total brand identity for Levi's Original Spin including logo development, store design, consumer brochures and all point-of-purchase collateral. Designed to appeal to a 15-24 year old audience, Levi's Original Spin is based on the consumer as the creator of their own jeans. Store design and brochure layouts enhance the spirit of individuality with black and white photographs of "personalities" that illustrate the various style options.
As part of the expansion of Logan International Airport in Boston, an entire section of new aircraft hangars, known as Hangar Row, is being configured. Pentagram was asked by its long-time client, United Airlines, to develop a graphic façade for its new hangar, the first to appear on Hangar Row. The criteria for the design were that it needed to feel distinctly United and that it should be a visual event with the potential to become an airport landmark for those flying into and out of Boston.
AMTRAK's Acela Specialty Station Signage Program. The Acela signage breaks new ground in the branding arena. Rather than being logotype-driven, the program derives its branding strength from its sculptural forms.
To engage citizens in a dialogue about the crisis of urban violence in some Boston neighborhoods, Remembering Boston's Children 1980-2005 memorializes the many Boston children born in the last 20 years of the 20th century who will not become Boston adults in the 21st century.
The Cloud Foundation is about the process of at-risk children realizing their dreams through the arts. The concept was to create a sign system that reminds the user of being a child, lying on the grass, and looking up to the bright blue sky to see the clouds…imagining the possibilities. The challenge was finding materials that felt cloud-like, semi-opaque but not transparent, light, and fluffy.
Environmental graphic designers worked closely with Harvard University to develop a wayfinding program for a new four-level underground parking garage intended for weekday staff parking and evening/weekend event parking.

The 2009 theme was “Community,” and the design team’s goal was to create an exhibition that would celebrate the competition winners and the New England design community as a whole.
The Bernard M. Gordon Tribute to Engineering Leadership is an interactive archway located in the center of the Northeastern University campus in Boston. Selbert Perkins Design, in collaboration with Richard Lewis Media Group, Pressley Landscape Architecture, and Northeastern University, designed the portal to honor 11 groundbreaking engineers who revolutionized aerospace engineering, computer technology, and communications.
