The second event in our Studio Crawl series, where we are showcasing local EGD firms and giving students a look into the typical day for a local experiential graphic designer.
We had great attendance at the Sensory Interactive studio crawl in the first of several tours of local studio tours in the experiential design community. Thank you to all who attended and a special thanks to Greg Giordano and Sensory Interactive for being wonderful hosts. All attendees were invited to the post-event social, sponsored by S|N|A.
Next up: a studio crawl at fd2s on Monday, October 6. Stay tuned...
This is the first in a series of area studio crawls where we can showcase local EGD firms as well as give students a look into the typical day for a local experiential graphic designer.
A big “thank you” to everyone who joined us for the walking tour of the University of Texas at Austin campus. We had a great time and enjoyed some wonderful pieces of EGD.
Thanks also to our members who played key roles in the design or fabrication of the tour projects – including Frauke Bartels (UT-Austin), Curtis Roberts (fd2s), and Grady Brown (iZone Imaging) – who provided some direction and great information.
Don’t forget about SEGD Austin’s Walking Tour event this Thursday, 2/13, at the University of Texas at Austin. The tour will begin at 6pm. Please meet on the ground-floor food court of the Student Activity Center’s north entrance. The SAC is at 2201 Speedway in Austin.
