Studio SC (Seattle) designed a new wayfinding program for the City of Tacoma, Wash. Industrial aluminum L-beams with wide messaging panels provide clear, vehicular directional signage and are augmented by historic images and information enjoyable at the pedestrian level. The images highlight a true story that occurred at the location of each sign.

The signs are treated with an anti-graffiti
coating and stand 13 feet tall, ensuring high visibility and durability. Installation is underway and will be complete in October.

Creative Sign Designs

Creative Sign Designs (Tampa, Fla.) completed a uniquely collaborative project between owner, architect, and creative to create signage for Calvary Assembly of God in Winter Park, Fla. The project began with the architect’s concept of the sign; the intent was to tie into the blue stained glass in the church. After much experimenting with the inner construction and placement of the LEDs, a seamless design and even lighting across the glass were achieved.
