Inspired by mega-blockbuster disaster movies, One Plus Partnership created a one-of-a-kind immersive environment for the Wushang Zhongyan Mall International Cinema in Wuhan, China. Visualizing scenes from movies like Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, they created scenes that could easily convince theater-goers they walked into a real film setting.
Nanchang Insun International Cinema is located in the Book City area of this southeastern Chinese city. So in its environmental graphics program for the cinema, One Plus Partnership Ltd. took inspiration from both books and movies.
One Plus Partnership’s environmental graphics create “green living” for residents of a Hong Kong high-rise.
Residents of YOHO Midtown, one of Hong Kong’s newest luxury high-rises, love urban living but also yearn for a connection to nature—a rare experience in their crowded metropolis.
Commissioned to design the interiors for the complex’s four-story, 37,000-square-foot clubhouse/recreation center, One Plus Partnership (Hong Kong) was committed to giving them what they wanted.
In a high-rise apartment building in Shenzhen, China, the lobby is an important buffer zone between the outside world and the interior, and also sets the tone for the design style within.
One Plus Partnership Ltd. envisioned the lobby of the Mellon Town building as a container for the spirit of Chinese culture. The lobby evokes bamboo, that ubiquitous icon of Chinese culture, with a dramatically green palette, flooring, lighting, and residents’ mailboxes. The design team also used the green/bamboo theme to stimulate thought about sustainability and green design.
YOHO Midtown is the second phase of a high-rise residential and shopping center complex in Hong Kong. Opened in 2010, it targets affluent young professionals and provides all the luxury amenities you’d expect with its multi-million-dollar price tags.
