Masha Pyshkina

For the past 9 years, Masha Pyshkina has served as the Head of Museum and Experience Design team at Lorem Ipsum, continuously inspired by the goal of creating unique, beautiful and emotional exhibitions. With over 25 years of experience leading large-scale international cultural programs, she combines expertise in management with particular interest in storytelling.

Kathy Fry

Kathy Fry is the 2022 SEGD President and has served on the SEGD Board since 2016. She is a Principal at Mayer/Reed in Portland, Ore.

Kathy directs visual communications services in the design of signage, wayfinding, interpretive and branded spaces for civic, recreation, transportation, cultural, healthcare, education, mixed-use and corporate settings.

Bosco Hernandez

Bosco Hernández is a member of the 2023 SEGD Board and has been on the SEGD Board since 2022.

Bosco Hernández is Design Director at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA)

Bosco Hernández was born and raised in Mexico City. He received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence in 2002. In 2013, he received an MFA from the Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem, Netherlands.

His work has been exhibited internationally at PS1 MoMA, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil and The International Poster and Graphic Design Festival at Chaumont.

Mike McCarthy

Mike McCarthy is the 2021 SEGD Treasurer/Secretary and a member of the 2021 SEGD Board and Vice President at DCL in Boston.

Mike received a dual degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he double majored in Mechanical Engineering and Visual Art.

Dayton Schroeter

Dayton is a Design Principal who has championed Design Justice advocacy throughout his career at SmithGroup. As a leader of the firm’s Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, his charge is to lead design projects that address the systemic injustice that architecture and planning have perpetuated for historically disenfranchised communities of color.
