Nadia Tran is an experienced graphic designer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Nadia Tran is very skilled in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Web Design and Adobe Photoshop. Renée Alleyn

Renée Alleyn is a Professor in the York/Sheridan Honours Bachelor of Design program where she teaches undergraduate courses in typography, type making, editorial design, and visual identity. Renée Alleyn has over ten years of experience as an editorial and communications designer, with a focus on developing typographic identity systems.

James Pierce

James Pierce began his creative career in the video industry, working with everything from local to international clients. However, he primarily worked to help non-profit clients. After over a decade worth of experience in video, he applied his expertise in motion and design and to web design and development. Prior to joining Belmont full-time in 2011, James Pierce started a company that allowed artists to create websites, without the need to know all the inter-workings of the web.

Nathaniel Haefner

Nathaniel Haefner is a designer based in Austin, Texas and is working on his MFA in Communication Design at Texas State University as well as completing his teaching certification for K–12 Art. Nathaniel Haefner currently teaches undergraduate level Typography and Interactive Design classes at Texas State.

Alwyn Brownewell

Alwyn Brownewell is a positive, well-rounded designer who is passionate about creating meaningful designs that impact my community.

Alwyn Brownewell currently lives in Houston, TX with her husband Matt and their pup named Katsu. When she’s not designing, Alwyn enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and eating lots of food with family and friends.

Alwyn earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in GRaphic Design from the University of Houston, graduating in 2018.

Michele Washington

Michele Washington is a design researcher and design strategist who works with non-profits, startups, and cultural institutions. She is currently a Columbia University Community Scholar and the founder of “CuriousStories Lab,” a curated series of podcasts and short docs on architects and designers of color. She has an MFA in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, and M.S. in Communications Design from Pratt Institute.
