Our customers are museums, companies, municipalities and institutions that utilize our work in showrooms and visitor centers, at events and online.

Chank Diesel

Chank Diesel created his independent type foundry in 1996 and has been creating fonts seen around the world ever since. His fonts have been called “an important example of contemporary design” by the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum.

Wired.com has called Chank Diesel “the grand master of typographic homebrew” in honor of his work as a small-business typographic pioneer on the worldwide web, and in 1997, Chank was featured in The Wall Street Journal.

Jeff Loeschen

Jeff Loeschen has extensive experience in leading planning and design efforts for Alliiance’s aviation practice at over 20 airports throughout the United States and Canada. His extensive work at MSP International Airport has focused on enhancing the passenger experience, including master planning, environmental assessments, concourse expansions, and numerous terminal renovations.

Jeff Loeschen shares his passion for a holistic approach to aviation design by speaking at numerous national aviation conferences and contributing to aviation industry literature.

Jackie Colburn

Jackie Colburn has been leading the creation of digital experiences for over a decade—everything from emerging startups to critical strategic efforts for fortune 50 businesses. She has proven that openness and optimism accelerate our collective potential to make great things happen and, through her work, has found a formula for bringing that potential to life: Design Sprints.

Jackie Colburn now leads her own practice running Design Sprints and has used the approach with teams to solve a wide range of problems.

Amy Blackman

Amy Blackman was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving an Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Colombia, she moved to Los Angeles, where she discovered her work-passion-play, Band Management, which she did for 18 years.

Her career culminated in managing Grammy-winning bands and producers, touring the world and being named a Cultural Ambassador for the U.S. State Department. The ambassadorship included producing public diplomacy missions in regions that had never before seen live music from the West, such as Nepal, Myanmar, Madagascar and Mongolia.

Tanya Dreesen is currently in her 9th season as a prominent member of the Minnesota Vikings. As Vice President of Partnership Activation and Special Projects, she collaborates on team and U.S. Bank Stadium presentations and community relationships. She is responsible for the team that activates all sponsorships, including naming rights and new Founding Partnerships. Tanya provides support on critical new team initiatives such as the International Series games in London, the successful 2018 Super Bowl LII bid and the latest new 200-acre practice facility design and construction.

With more than 25 years of global design experience including a distinguished career at Royal Philips, Eric brings extensive design leadership in building and managing multi-disciplinary creative teams to drive brand and innovation forward.

Larry Millett

Larry Millett, a native of Minneapolis, is a graduate of St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota—where he completed his BA in English (1969)—and the University of Chicago—where he completed his MA in English (1970). 

Larry Millett has spent much of his career as a writer, reporter, and editor for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, joining the newspaper in 1972. In 1984, he won a Knight Fellowship to the University of Michigan to study architectural history and theory.
