Tanner Woodford

Tanner Woodford is co-founder and Executive Director of the Chicago Design Museum, and teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University, and a design patent for product design at Intel. Throughout his career, Tanner Woodford has worked in many capacities, including product design, community organization, interaction design, and development. With formal training in design, he has taught and lectured on design issues, history, and rapid ideation in professional and academic settings.

Nik Hafermaas

Nik Hafermaas is an international award-winning artist, designer, and educational leader. His Los Angeles-based artist platform Ueberall conceives and produces data-driven art installations converging digital media and spatial experiences. His artist team produced the data-driven sculptures eCLOUD for San Jose International Airport and Airfield for Atlanta International Airport and is currently creating landmark art pieces for the San Diego International Airport and for the new North Precinct Police Headquarters in Seattle.

Martin Treu

Martin Treu is an architect, author, graphic designer and urbanist. For the past two decades he has been tracking the historic evolution of the American commercial corridor. Martin is author of Signs, Streets, and Storefronts. The book addresses more than 200 years of signs and place-marking along America’s commercial corridors. From small-town squares to Broadway, State Street, and Wilshire Boulevard, Martin Treu follows design developments into the present and explores issues of historic preservation.

2014 SEGD Distinguished Member, Cybelle Jones was an SEGD Board member from 2006-2012.

Cybelle Jones is Principal and Studio Director of Gallagher & Associates. Her creative direction and leadership has been integral to the success of the firm and to our position as one of the leading professional design firms. Cybelle Jones graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BFA in Architecture and Planning. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Corcoran College of Art + Design and has lead the Design Improv with David Vanden-Eynden for a number of years.
