Sylvia Mattingly is a Graphic Communication Design Major participating in the Professional Practice Program, alternating semesters of classroom study with work in the field of design. She will begin her first coop rotation in the spring of 2018 working at the University of Cincinnati in Environmental Graphic Design within Planning+Design+Construction. This department is a multidisciplinary group of designers, engineers, construction managers, businessmen, and coop students who are responsible for the physical environment of the University of Cincinnati's Uptown Campus, Blue Ash Campus and the Clermont Campus.
Sylvia Mattingly is excited to gain experience and launch her career in environmental graphic design through the coop program at the University of Cincinnati. She plans to utilize her membership with SEGD as an avenue to the world of environmental graphic design and environmental branding.
Her skills include Typography, Graphic Design, the Adobe Creative Suite, and many more.
Outside of school, Sylvia Mattingly is very involved with her church, St. Monica-St. George. She holds an internship position and is responsible for organizing service events, coordinating a community dinner every week, and leading her own small faith formation group every week.
