Steven Johnson is the Director of Experiential Graphic Design at Resource Branding, a creative studio based in Atlanta that serves to strengthen communities and companies through brand development and experiential graphic design.
In his role at Resource, Steven leads the EGD practice area which focuses on providing impactful design services including but not limited to Marketing Center Design, Workplace Branding, Interior & Exterior Signage, Interiors Consultation, Wayfinding Design, Exhibition Design, and Supergraphics.
Steven’s expertise and professional passion lies in developing and executing brand systems that extend dynamically into 3-dimensional space. With a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in Visual Communications from Pratt Institute, Steven is uniquely suited for work that blends architecture and graphic design. He relishes collaborating with architects, artists, and designers of all disciplines, knowing that the most impactful design solutions come from a diversity of input and perspective.
Steven believes in supporting other designers and creating a foundation for their success. He is also a proponent of the design industry’s inherent responsibility to act with sensitivity to our environment and champion sustainability throughout the practice.
He has had the privilege of working with global companies, luxury real estate entities, and consumer brands such as Google, the 9/11 Memorial, the World Trade Center, Mercedes-Benz, Chick-fil-A, Hudson Yards, One Madison, Viceroy Snowmass, the BIG EAST Conference, The Woodley DC, Havaianas, Hines, and The Related Companies.
Prior to his current role with Resource Branding, Johnson worked for Gensler Atlanta & New York, DBOX, and GHD Partners.
