Sterling Larrimore is a senior exhibition and environmental graphic designer with 15+ years of success designing engaging and meaningful visitor experiences in collaboration with world-class museums, zoos, aquariums, universities, and leading parks organizations.
Sterling Larrimore works as the Senior Environmental Graphic Designer at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, whose mission is to preserve the Golden Gate National Parks, enhance the park visitor experience, and build a community dedicated to conserving the parks for the future. Sterling designs and producesinterpretive, engagement and wayfinding signage for the National Parks at the Golden Gate - spanning 80,000 acres, 130+ miles of trails and 37 park sites including Muir Woods, Crissy Field, Alcatraz and many more.
Sterling Larrimore is also an Exhibition Graphic Designer at Stanford University, where she Collaborates with the Cantor exhibitions and curatorial staff to create dynamically consistent exhibition graphics for changing gallery spaces. She is also Senior Exhibit Graphic Designer at the California Academy of Sciences, creating every breed of Natural History Museum, Aquarium and Planetarium related environmental graphics (from exhibit panels, interactives, presentation decks and elevations thru wayfinding and donor recognition) from concept thru completion, for over a decade of Academy evolution - from our historic home in Golden Gate Park to the greenest museum in the world.
