I'm a people centered leader, really. ...I enjoy my clients as much as I enjoy working with the craftsmen and artists who make the magic happen... It's the bringing them together that I enjoy.
If you asked me what makes me tick professionally, I'd say it's projects that combine maximum creativity, working with clients, and then backing both of those up with some good management and financial metrics. I get alot of satisfaction from all three of those areas and leverage them in all in the projects I undertake.
Over the years I've found that whether fielding a national program or simply helping a client produce a small last-minute project in a pinch, that the "secret sauce" is working every day to solve problems and build well-running teams as a collaborative leader. If you find ways to make things happen, and give the creative people around you the confidence and ability to do it, you can deliver results that will leave your clients breathless. I've found this works in private firms and in the public sector.
I'm looking forward to meeting some people here and contributing to the org's success. I have a creative career that has inexorably spanned private enterprise, public programs, and military leadership (which are all so very different as you might imagine) so was very happy to find this group that combines so many people with so varied careers.
