Human behaviour, design, communication and creative strategy. Stephanie Lessmann is a planner and a researcher, helping brands find their personality in advertising and currently helping people find their way through creative and innovative wayfinding strategy design.
First graduated in social communications in São Paulo, Brazil, Stephanie Lessmann did her masters by research in Information Environments in London, England. "The research informs the design, and the design enhances the research." Stephanie takes an active interest in best practice design in the built environment. She is a member of the Society of Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD), and would like to bring greater creativity and innovation to the field of wayfinding.
Stephanie is the wayfinding strategist on any projects being led out of their Dubai studio. She guides the team on that first crucial stage of any wayfinding project, understanding the site, working with the client to capture needs and goals and research the best way to make the environment work well. She brings four years of experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, urban and retail projects, both in Brazil and here in the UAE.
Stephanie Lessmann started her wayfinding career with a non-profit urban project in Brazil. With the chance to give Guaramiranga City a new look, she worked from strategy all the way to implementation. Stephanie's since worked with clients including Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Meraas, WSP, RSP, GAJ, Al Barari, JW Marriott, Bvlgari, D1 Tower and the Renaissance Hotel. She has also volunteers with TEDx Fortaleza, Brazil.
Stephanie has an MA in Research in Information Environments, from the University of the Arts London (UAL). In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, exploring new countries with a backpack and a camera.
