Skylar Hayden is a multi-disciplinary designer eager to explore everything the Experiential Design industry has to offer. Currently working at GNU Group in their Northern California office, he is meticulously learning the fundamentals of experiential graphic design and wayfinding, while honing his 3D visualization abilities.
Skylar Hayden has had the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of markets such as Hospitality, Residential, Entertainment, Healthcare, and Corporate Offices. He is still very new to the industry but was introduced to a large breadth of projects during his time at YDI ranging from the LA Dodgers' Dominican Republic Campus (Campo Las Palmas) and text placement for the Jackie Robinson statue at Dodgers’ Stadium, to completing the final tweaks to brands for new apartment complexes, and creating design/build signage systems for mix-use developments.
Skylar Hayden's background in creative coding, derived from his studies in Interactive Arts at Maryland Institute College of Art, has given him a focused interest in digital solutions and integration that are quickly becoming commonplace within the industry. He hopes to be able to use his previous experience of coding in future projects. Skylar is also focused on integrating 3D visualization and emerging technology into his workflow and ideation.
