An innovation catalyst, designer, and electrical engineer Siggi Bachmann possesses a deep passion for fostering creativity in teams. He applies his insights about the creative process to drive powerful co-creative team sessions which yield innovative solutions. With over 10 years as a Creative Director Mr. Bachmann mentors and leads design thinking sessions both professionally and in volunteer capacity.
Prior to his design career, Siggi Bachmann applied his engineering skills to a variety of fields ranging from power grid to fiber optic computer systems working for major companies like Alcoa, Marel, and RARIK, a national power distribution company. He also has worked in the fashion industry and currently advises tech startups on branding. Mr. Bachmann serves as the Creative Director of the world-renowned New World Symphony (NWS). In addition to his work in marketing and communication at the NWS, where he leads an in-house design team and all branding efforts, he also collaborates with musicians in developing new concert formats as part of the organization’s leadership program. He has most recently joined in with the Kellogg School of Management to mentor the NWS Fellows in Design Thinking processes.
As a community leader, Siggi Bachmann is a board chair for the AIGA Miami. AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design with over 25,000 members in 70 chapters within the United States. In Addition to that he is also the co-host of 3 Global Service Design events and a co-host of Action Deign Miami, a Meetup group that brings dynamic speakers to Miami to give lectures on topics that address customer behavior and behavioral science.
