Learning is not very beneficial if it can only give you answers. It can do wonders if it makes you think, makes you want to question. I am an Exhibition and Experience Design student from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. Currently pursuing my masters I have come a long way, seeking answers, but I still have many questions. Questions about building the right skills before I get to be a pioneer in the confines of the designing sector, questions about being able to participate in a future where my work marks down the problems of the world.
My passion for creativity and a quench to create human centric experiences that evoke emotional connection through spaces has brought me to answer these questions and develop solutions for a sustainable and community centered world.
I have an undergraduate degree in Retail and Exhibition Design from India and have worked at event companies like Shobiz Experiential Communications and Universal India Events. This practical aspect of my study helped me to capitalize on the theoretical knowledge I had gained. I developed great expertise towards exhibition design and its principles, as fundamental as space planning and as complex as technological engagement. My current program helped me design spaces that can transform individuals and build connection, physically and intellectually.
I hope to keep expanding my creative curiosities by working for industry professionals in the Exhibition and Experience Design industry and kickstart my design career in the USA.
