SEGD Riga Chapter / Wayfinding Design

The SEGD Riga Chapter is delighted to invite to its last this years event, which will be dedicated to the topic of Wayfinding Design.

Wayfinding design assists all people in understanding and navigating the many different built environments they use on a daily basis. Good Wayfinding design should be a fundamental part of all public built environments to ensure that all users can operate safely and effectively in achieving their daily goals. H2E Lead Designer Ingūna Elere will talk about importance to talk about Wayfinding design in Latvia. The founding directors of Dotdash, Despina Macris and Mark Ross will present and discuss Wayfinding design and show how it can help businesses and organisations engage with their audiences for better outcomes.  Despina and Mark will explain wayfinding design and outline a range of best practice examples across different sectors such as urban centres, recreation spaces, transport nodes, health care and education campuses. They will explain that good Wayfinding design is a critical part of any visitor experience that provides both social and economic benefits.
