SEGD Launches Search for New CEO

SEGD CEO Search 2020

Association Initiates Search for New Chief Executive Officer

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) announced today that it is initiating a search to identify their next executive leader.

SEGD exists to “educate, connect and inspire” the global, multidisciplinary community of professionals creating experiences that connect people to place. It provides valued services to more than 2000 members representative of design professionals, industry members, educators, and students.

SEGD has formed a search committee to oversee the process of selecting a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and has retained Vetted Solutions, a nationwide executive search firm that specializes in associations and nonprofit organizations, as their search partner. The search will commence in the upcoming weeks, and the organization’s goal is to have a new CEO identified by April 2020.

“The SEGD Board of Directors recognizes the critical importance of this position to the long-term sustainability and relevancy of the organization, and we are well prepared for this transition. We will keep our membership updated on the progress of the search through announcements on both the association website and via other online communications channels,” said Anna Crider, President of the SEGD Board of Directors.

By mid-February, the search committee expects to post the executive position profile on SEGD, Vetted Solutions, and relevant websites; it will also be shared with members.

Any inquiries concerning the search should be directed to the Vetted Solutions search team.
