Second Story recently completed work on a jaw-dropping piece of generative art for the world's largest 4K LED wall, which was built by NanoLumens. Titled "Unify," the installation is a mesmerizing and massive 64-by-36 feet, designed especially for Legacy Union, Charlotte North Carolina's stunning new 10-acre mixed-use development.
The crisp, vivid imagery gives viewers the impression of floating inside a sublime cloud—a swirl of colors and sound that constantly evolve into something new. The hypnotic piece is a super-size tribute to Charlotte’s community and this landmark gathering place.
The piece is installed within the inaugural building’s lobby, crafted with a brilliant algorithm that never displays the same visuals twice. “We’re overwhelmed and saturated with advertising,” says Joel Krieger, Second Story’s executive creative director. “It’s so refreshing to see more developers using canvases like this to inspire and enhance communities, built environments and public spaces.”
